7. Exhaust system
The final system consists of a final collector or collectors, the catalytic converter, the muffler and an exhaust pipe. Elements of final system are attached to a body by means of arms and suspended clips.
Exhaust pipe
| The exhaust pipe is connected to the catalytic converter two bolts (are specified by shooters). |
Exhaust pipe (6-cylinder engines)
| In 6-cylinder engines the forward section of an exhaust pipe fastens to a body an arm with two bolts (are specified by shooters). |
Muffler shock-absorber
| Examine the muffler shock-absorber on existence of cracks and strong wear. |
You carry out a regular inspection of elements of the exhaust system. Worn-out elements of final system are not subject to repair, they need to be replaced new.
