Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Examine the lever mechanism, it has to function smoothly and not jam.
2. Start the engine, in turn disconnect vacuum hoses from a throttle. Check whether there is a vacuum idling and at higher turns. Compare results of check to data of the table Functioning of Vacuum Ports of a Throttle – 4-cylinder models.
3. Remove an airintaking pipe and check a throttle for existence of a deposit and dirt. If necessary wash out a throttle special solution for cleaning of carburetors.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Remove the airintaking pipe connecting the throttle case to the air filter.
3. Disconnect an accelerator rope from the lever of a butterfly valve.
4. Disconnect hoses and wires from a throttle casing.
5. Disconnect a wire from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve.
6. Unscrew assembly bolts of a throttle.
7. Disconnect a throttle from an inlet collector.
8. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
