Removal and installation

1. Disconnect the battery from weight
|

FACING OF THE GUARD OF DEVICES

| 2. On cars with an adjustable steering column completely lower a column down. |
|
3. On the Camry models unscrew two screws in the top part of facing of a guard of devices, give facing on yourself and bring out of gearing with latches (on the Avalon models 4 screws are provided). |
| 4. A screw-driver edge carefully hook the lower part of facing and bring out of gearing with latches. |
| 5. Installation is carried out upside-down. |

KNEE BUFFER

| 2. Unscrew screws of fastening of the lever of the lock of a cowl to the knee buffer. |
| 3. Press on a box sidewall for trifles (if it is provided) and remove it from the knee buffer. |
|
4. Turn off two bolts of fastening of the knee buffer, give the buffer on yourself and remove from latches. On the Avalon models uncover previously the block of safety locks mounted from the driver. |
|
5. If access to space under the forward panel is necessary, then turn off bolts of fastening of the popliteal buffer which at the same time fix also an intensifying plate. Give on yourself bottom edge of an intensifying plate of the buffer and remove. |
| 6. Installation is carried out upside-down. |

CENTRAL FACING PANEL

2. Hook and remove the central facing panel from latches. On the Avalon models give on yourself the panel and disconnect the socket from the switch of the alarm system (shooter). |
| 3. Install the panel upside-down. |
|
THE LOWER FACING PANEL FROM THE PASSENGER AND THE GLOVE BOX

| 2. The lower facing panel from the passenger fastens latches. Hook the panel and remove from latches. |
| 3. On the Camry models open a glove box and give in a box sidewall, then unscrew fastening screws. On the Solara models unscrew two lower screws, open a glove box and unscrew the top screws. Remove a box together with the facing panel. |

4. On the Avalon models turn off three nuts under a door of a box and remove a door. |
