2.3. Primary and secondary checks

Before work study the description of the performed operations and prepare necessary tools and materials.

Type of a forward part of the car from below
 
1. Cap of a drain opening of the engine
2. Brake support
3. Cover external CV JOINT
4. Cover of steering transfer
5. Cap of a drain opening of the automatic transmission
6. Exhaust pipe
7. Cover of the internal CV JOINT
8. Brake tube

Type of a back part of the car from below

 
1. The hose connecting a fuel tube and the fuel tank
2. Shock-absorber
3. Fuel tank
4. Exhaust pipe
5. Rope of the emergency brake

Regular carrying out all necessary operations of maintenance will ensure long and reliable functioning of the engine. If maintenance was carried out irregularly, and operation of the engine worsened, it is necessary to perform the following operations.

Primary checks

Clear, examine and check the accumulator.

Check the level of oil and cooling liquid.

Check a state and a tension of driving belts.

Check wires of spark plugs.

Check the air filter and replace it.

Check the cooling system.

Check a condition of all hoses and examine them on leak existence.

Secondary checks

All operations which are listed above plus:

Replace spark plugs.

Check a power supply system.

Replace the air filter.

Replace wires of high voltage.
