7.2.11. Sensor of rotation of a cam-shaft
On 4-cylinder engines the sensor is mounted in a back part of a head of the block of cylinders, on V6 engines – in a forward part of a head of the block.

| 1. Disconnect the socket of conducting and check sensor resistance (in the drawing at the left – the 4-cylinder engine, on the right – 6-cylinder). Resistance has to correspond specified in specifications (see subsection 7.2.2.). On 4-cylinder engines the sensor for check should be removed. |

Replacement

1. Switch off ignition.

2. Disconnect the socket, turn off bolts and remove the sensor. |
