8.2.4. General diagnostics
Preliminary check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Warm up the engine and the transmission up to the normal working temperature. |
| 2. Check the level of transmission liquid. |
| 3. If level too low, add liquid and repeat check. |
| 4. If level too high, merge excess liquid. |
| 5. If liquid foams, merge it and fill in new. Check whether engine cooling system liquid gets to transmission liquid. |
| 6. Check the speed of idling of the engine. |
| 7. Check a rope of a butterfly valve. |
| 8. Check operation of the mechanism of gear shifting. |

Finding of leak
If you found out that there is a leak of transmission liquid, it is necessary to define its location precisely. For this purpose, warm the engine and install the car on a leaf of a pure cardboard. In a few minutes, you will be able easily to determine the place of leak by the spots formed on a cardboard.
