8.2.7. Switch of blocking of ignition

The switch of blocking does not allow to start the engine if any transfer, except parking and neutral is included.

Check of the switch (4-cylinder models)

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car. 2. Disconnect a wire from the switch. 3. Check by means of an ohmmeter as the switch in all provisions (see rice works. Check of the switch of 4-cylinder models and rice. Check of the switch of 6-cylinder models). 4. If necessary replace the switch.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car. 2. Disconnect a wire from the switch. 3. Twist a nut of the switching lever on the transmission (the left arrow), remove the lever and unscrew switch bolts. 4. Remove the switch. 5. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Weaken bolts of the switch and turn it so that to combine a cut and the adjusting line (see rice. Adjustment of the switch of 4-cylinder models and rice. Adjustment of the switch of 6-cylinder models). Tighten switch bolts.
