12.1.18. Headlights
Prevention
It is necessary to check adjustment of headlights each 12 months, when replacing a headlight or after repair of a forward part of a body. The described procedure allows to adjust only approximately headlights, exact adjustment is carried out in car service.

Adjustment

2. On the case of a halogen headlight 2 adjusting screws – screws horizontal (And) and vertical are provided (In) adjustments of headlights. |
| 3. The simplest way of adjustment consists in installation of a bunch on a marking on the screen (wall).

| 4. Designate a tape of a cross hairs, corresponding to the centers of headlights. |
| 5. Install the car in 7,5 m from a wall.

| 6. Adjustment is carried out at normal loading of the car and a thin tank.
|
7. Establish a bunch of passing beam of headlights so that the light spot settled down 5 cm below than a horizontal and verticals are 5 cm more right. For raising of a bunch rotate the screw clockwise and vice versa. The same concerns adjustment to the left-to the right. Turn on driving beam of headlights and adjust a bunch so that the spot was strictly on the vertical line, directly under a horizontal.
Prevention
To precisely expose bunches of driving and passing beam in such a way it can be impossible. In this case try to adjust more precisely passing beam with which it is necessary to go more often and on which traffic safety more depends.
