The switch is mounted in the central part of the dashboard.

Check

Check existence of a chain between the specified conclusions. Replace the switch if results at least one of checks negative.

Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove facing in the central part of the dashboard.
2. Give the switch up and disconnect the socket, press a latch (it is specified by an arrow) and get the switch.

The switch is mounted on the dashboard on the left side – under a ventilating nozzle on the Camry and Avalon models, or to the right of a nozzle on the Solara models.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully hook and get the switch.
2. Disconnect the socket and remove the switch.
3. Install the switch upside-down.

DRAFT CONTROL SWITCH

The switch of control of draft works together with ABS system to improve draft in some road conditions. The switch is mounted on the panel to the left of a wheel.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check existence of a chain between switch conclusions, having got it. When pressing contacts have to become isolated, and at an otpuskaniye – to be opened. Otherwise replace the switch.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully hook and get the switch.
2. Disconnect the socket and remove the switch.
3. Install the switch upside-down.

THE LIGHTING SWITCH ON THE DASHBOARD

Check of the switch of lighting on the dashboard

 At rotation of the handle tension between conclusions 2 and 3 has to change.

On the considered cars it is applied or the disk switch of lighting which is mounted in the top left part of the dashboard, or the switch with the taken-out handle located under the left ventilating nozzle on the dashboard. Switches of both types are combined with a rheostat which is intended for lighting adjustment.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On the removed switch check a rheostat for what execute connections according to the scheme (see rice. Check of the switch of lighting on the dashboard). At rotation of the handle tension between conclusions 2 and 3 has to change. Otherwise replace the switch.

Replacement

On cars with a lighting rheostat under the left nozzle hook and get the switch. For replacement of the disk switch it is necessary to remove a guard of devices.
