12.1.23. System cruise control
The system a cruise control provides maintenance of speed of the car by means of the electric drive which is placed in a motor compartment. The electric drive is connected to a cable of a butterfly valve. The control unit, the braking signal switch, switches and the sensor of speed of the movement are a part of system. Service of this system is carried out in car service, however the general nature of malfunction can be defined independently.

| 1. Check a safety lock.

| 2. Check operation of the switch of a signal of braking (tension from the switch deactivates system a cruise control).

| 3. If lamps of a signal of braking do not burn, or are not switched off, then remove the cause and again check system a cruise control.

| 4. Check freedom of movement of a cable of the electric drive a cruise control, if necessary replace.
|
| 5. Check the system speed sensor a cruise control which is mounted in a speedometer. |
| 6. Check work of system on a trial trip. In case of abnormal work of system address to car service.
