3.4.6. Coil (i) of ignition

On V6 engines transfer the ignition key to situation Off, disconnect sockets from coils and check resistance of primary chains of coils. |
Prevention
On 4-cylinder engines this procedure is not provided.

Check resistance of secondary chains of coils. For this purpose transfer the ignition key to situation Off, designate and disconnect high-voltage wires (the 4-cylinder engine) from coils.

|
On V6 engines it is necessary to remove the coil. If resistance differ from standard, then replace the coil of ignition.

Replacement

| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

| 2. Remove a throttle branch pipe (see subsection 6.14.). |
| 3. Designate and disconnect the socket and high-voltage wires from the coil. |

4. Turn off bolts (shooters) and remove the coil with an arm. |
| 5. Turn off bolts and remove the coil from an arm. |
| 6. Installation is carried out upside-down. |

| 2. Designate and disconnect the socket and high-voltage wires from the coil. |
| 3. Turn off bolts and remove the coil from an arm. |
