3.4.6. Coil (i) of ignition

On V6 engines transfer the ignition key to situation Off, disconnect sockets from coils and check resistance of primary chains of coils. |
Prevention
On 4-cylinder engines this procedure is not provided.

Check resistance of secondary chains of coils. For this purpose transfer the ignition key to situation Off, designate and disconnect high-voltage wires (the 4-cylinder engine) from coils.

On V6 engines it is necessary to remove the coil. If resistance differ from standard, then replace the coil of ignition.

Replacement

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove a throttle branch pipe (see subsection 6.14.). |
3. Designate and disconnect the socket and high-voltage wires from the coil. |

4. Turn off bolts (shooters) and remove the coil with an arm. |
5. Turn off bolts and remove the coil from an arm. |
6. Installation is carried out upside-down. |

2. Designate and disconnect the socket and high-voltage wires from the coil. |
3. Turn off bolts and remove the coil from an arm. |
4. Installation is carried out upside-down. |
