9.1.4. Rack of a forward suspension bracket
Prevention
Shock-absorbers of racks change only in couple.
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. Remove forward wheels. Substitute a jack under the suspension bracket lever. |

2. Disconnect a hydraulic actuator tube arm from a rack. |
3. On the cars equipped with ABS system turn off a bolt of a collar of conducting and disconnect conducting from the speed sensor. |

4. Turn off the specified nuts of fastening of a rack to a rotary fist and the hammer and to small beards beat out bolts. |
5. Disconnect a rack from a rotary fist. Take measures to damaging a cover of the internal CV JOINT, and also do not allow falling of a fist as at the same time the brake hose will be damaged. |

6. Holding the top part of a rack, turn off three nuts of fastening to a cap of a suspension bracket (arrow) and get a rack from a wheel niche. |

Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Check existence on the case of a rack of cracks and other visible damages.
|
2. Check a condition of a spring, existence on rounds of cracks of a covering (leads to a premature exit of a spring out of operation owing to aging), hardening and damages on the isolating laying of a spring.

3. At detection of damages sort a rack and replace the damaged details.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Working together, establish a rack so that hairpins entered openings of a cap and screw nuts.
|
2. Bring a rack flange to a rotary fist, insert bolts and screw nuts. Tighten nuts with the set moment.
|
3. Fix a hose arm on a rack. Attach the socket to the speed sensor.
|
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
|
5. Tighten three nuts of the top fastening of a rack.
