9.1.7. Spherical support

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and remove a wheel.
Prevention

If the spherical support is removed a stripper of gripping type, then before dismantle of a wheel release a nut of a nave of a wheel (half shaft).

REMOVAL OF THE SUPPORT BY MEANS OF THE SLIDING BIFURCATE STRIPPER

Prevention

The procedure considered below provides the most bystry removal of a spherical support, however, at the same time the support finger cover for certain will be damaged. If the cover has to be kept, then be guided by the description in the Removal of a Support point by means of a gripping stripper.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Rashplintuyte also release a nut of a finger of a spherical support, a nut not completely not to turn off.
2. Vypressuyte a spherical support from a rotary fist by means of a sliding bifurcate stripper. Grease a cover with jellied lubricant and work carefully not to tear a cover. Turn off a support finger nut.

3. Turn off a bolt and nuts of fastening of a spherical support to the lever of a suspension bracket and separate a support from the lever.
4. At assembly establish a spherical support on a rotary fist and screw a nut, a nut not to tighten.
5. Install a support on the lever, turn and tighten nuts and a bolt with the set moment.
6. Tighten a support finger nut with the set moment and a zashplintuyta (the forelock replace new). If the forelock does not come into nut grooves, then slightly tighten a nut before coincidence of the next groove to the forelock.
7. Establish a wheel and lower the car.

REMOVAL OF THE SUPPORT BY MEANS OF THE GRIPPING BIFURCATE STRIPPER

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Separate a spherical support from the suspension bracket lever (see subsection 9.1.6.).
2. Get a half shaft from a rotary fist (see subsection 9.3.2.) also suspend, having fixed by a wire.
3. Rashplintuyte also release a nut of a finger of a spherical support, a nut not completely not to turn off.

4. Dress a gripping part of a stripper and a vypressuyta a spherical support from a rotary fist.
5. Turn off a nut of a finger of a spherical support and remove a support.
6. At assembly establish a new spherical support on a rotary fist and tighten a nut with the set moment.
7. Insert a half shaft into a rotary fist and wrap a nut. Tighten a nut, but not to the full.
8. Install a support on the lever and tighten nuts and a bolt with the set moment.
9. Establish a wheel and lower the car. Tighten nuts of a wheel with the set moment.
10. Tighten a nave nut with the set moment (see subsection 8.3.1.), establish a lock washer and the forelock.
